First Great Seal of Northern Ireland

Acquisition of the first Great Seal of Northern Ireland, adopted in 1924 and introduced for the opening of the Northern Ireland Parliament in that year. It remained in use until July 1983 for sealing documents such as letters patent and election writs, when a new seal was issued for King George VI.
