Sacrifice of Isaac, drawing by Gaulli from Holkham Hall

Acquisition of a drawing 'The Sacrifice of Isaac' by the Genoese artist Giovanni Battista Gaulli, known as il Baciccio (1639-1709). It is a study for the painting now in the High Museum, Atlanta. From the collection of drawings at Holkham Hall amassed in the early 18th century by the young Thomas Coke, 1st Earl of Leicester.
