Charles Rennie Mackintosh Armchair (Hill House)

Acquisition of an armchair designed for Hill House by Charles Rennie Mackintosh, and specifically for Mrs Blackie Senior who found the majority of Mackintosh's furniture at Hill House to lack a certain comfort. It is made of ebonised wood with small squares of mother of pearl inlay and an upholstered seat.
