Chippendale Drawings

Acquisition of the last two drawings in private hands of designs by Thomas Chippendale. They had been found loose in a copy of the third edition of The Gentleman and Cabinet Maker's Director and are for a candlestand and fire grates. Both drawings are in pen and grey wash.
