Miller Teapot Collection

Acquisition of a collection of 2000 British ceramic teapots, mostly from the 18th and 19th centuries. Comprising a significant part of a Designated collection of some 2700 British ceramic teapots; the largest collection of its type in the UK, created as a research tool for studying British pottery and porcelain from about 1750-1850. Collection made by Philip Miller and acquired from him through private treaty sale.
