Sandwood-Oldshoremore Estate, Sutherland

Acquisition of the Sandwood Estate which covers an area of 4,600 ha. on the north-western tip of Scotland. It includes the crofting townships of Sheigra, Droman, Balchrick, Blairmore, Polin, Drumnagui and Oldshoremore. It has a spectacular coastline with wonderful beaches, including the renowned Sandwood Bay. There are two sites of Special Scientific Interest: Southern Parphe and Sheigra Oldshoremore.
