Acquisition of watercolour, 'A Wayside Inn' by Richard Dadd (1817-1886). The picture is in its original carved wood frame, which has an arch-top opening. The scene is of a country inn overlooking a small hill town, with a distant plain beyond. In the foreground a rider converses with the inn kepper. 125 x 215mm. Printed 1871.
